NEET & Sandals Foundation join forces to giveaway care packages to those in need. It was another successful day at the Negril Education Environment Trust. On April 24, 2021, 30 families were given care packages and school supplies for students, as part of our monthly Care Package initiative. Observing Covid-19 protocols, packages were given to parents, students, and members of the public. The idea stemmed from the effects of the pandemic that has caused many individuals to lose their sources of income, and would not have been able to fully provide for their families. NEET is always looking for ways to give back to our community and we thank all our kind sponsors and donors who supported us to make this day possible. Thank you Sandals Negril for your generous donation to our NEET family. If there is anything the pandemic has taught us, it would be to show kindness to everyone, we need each other.

Last week several guests from Travellers Beach Resort and supporters of NEET planted coconut trees. Brook and his wife Dana have been generous donors and supporters. Thank you Brook and Dana and everyone who came out and to everyone that continues to give back. I

Care Package Giveaway On Saturday, February 27th we gave away 30 care packages to families in our community. Much of the produce is grown locally at our family farm. We also teach our children to plant fruit trees that the community benefits from once they begin to bear fruit. We continue to give care packages out twice per month in the Negril community. Each package included Canned food - mackerel, sardine, tuna, box milk, beans, mixed veg, plantain, bok choy, banana, custard apple, green banana, yam, sweet potato Thank you to all the volunteers that came out last week and thank you as always to donors, supports, and sponsors of NEET! We had a great day and together we are making a real difference.
